Tour de France Photography Book 2026 – What to Expect?

Since the first edition, seven more years have been added. The roads keep giving: Hautacam, Peyresourde, Brussels, Tourmalet, Nice, Col de la Loze, Albertville – all shot on 35mm black-and-white film, all part of this new chapter.

This Tour de France coffee table book is not about the riders. It is about the people on the roadside – the fans who travel hundreds of kilometres, wait for hours in the rain or the heat, and give everything for a few seconds of racing. Their faces, gestures, costumes and devotion are the heart of this book. More than 4,000 negatives shot over 21 years, distilled into a single volume.

21 years on 35mm black-and-white film

Every image in this cycling photography book was shot on analogue 35mm film – no digital, no post-processing, no filters. The grain, the contrast, the imperfection of film is what gives these images their character. It is a deliberate choice: analogue photography slows you down, forces you to be present, and produces images that age well.
